HP Smart Web printing has been replaced with HP Smart Print. Smart Print works with Internet Explorer up to version 9. The websitet does not specify any other browsers. You can get Smart Print from the HP website.
There's a problem with HP Solution Center. It's not starting. I have downloaded it several times but the problem is still there.

This application depends on Print Spooler. It may be possible that the service is locked. Go to Start > Run and press services.msc. Locate Print Spooler and restart the service.
I downloaded the HP Smart Web utility but it's not compatible with Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4. Am I doing something wrong? I get the message that it is not compatible. I run this application in Windows XP Professional. It works fine with Internet Explorer 6.

At the time of downloading, the utility was not available for Mozilla Firefox. Try to download a new version of the application and then you can use it in Mozilla Firefox. You can obtain a new version from the HP Support available for your printer under Software category.
Whenever I open Internet Explorer it will open for a while and closes. This is happening after installing the Smart Web Printing. How can I get rid of this? I need a solution.

This means that the add-on is not compatible with the version of Internet Explorer installed in your system. Go to Control Panel > Internet Options. Navigate to Advanced tab and click on both Reset buttons. These buttons will reset the browser to their default settings. Visit HP Support available for your printer in order to obtain a new version of the software that works with Internet Explorer.
